Agreed with Pingu. I kept my wiring and switches as simple as I could. I bottled out and kept the Z3 light switch as it looks quite vintage. The fog light switch and it's telling tale was a bit of a head scratcher too.

Oh and I never fitted fogs so can't comment accurately. My fogs are not those chrome dangley things either. I went for reflectors with inbuilt LEDs. Keep things neat, simple and minimum MOT std.

Just my opinion but I would make changes in the grp not door skin. Unless there is some reason you Have to touch the metal work I'd avoid it. I am a combo of lazy, unskilled, risk averse, cheapskate.
