Well, this is a really weird advert.

Doesn't start well with this comment
These cars are rare and I’ve only ever seen 5 for sale over the past 5 years me owning this car
...and then...
This car is not in tiptop condition however is still very good but I want it to absolutely perfect for the buyer!
But then you find out you aren't just buying the car, you are paying him to do a full restoration on the car and it won't cost you more than the £45K
I propose the buyer gives me £45,000 or a deposit for work in hand and I will do all the work necessary to make it 100% like new costing you no more than £45,000. I have already spoken with MR VANOS ( a well-known BMW specialist) and we have discussed a complete restoration of the car including engine rebuild mid-January 2017.
He's already started though, but not really got very far.
However me being very curious and maybe a little naive at the time I decided to take the engine out myself to do the work which I’m glad I attempted now because I haven’t driven it! This was 3 years ago and the engine is still sitting on its mounts not yet taken out but ready to come out.
More irrelevant waffle
There are no S54 Right hand drive roadsters or coupes for sale and haven’t been for a long time for me to compare a price too. However the most expensive S54 Left Hand Drive roadster is £29,995 with similar mileage. The best S54 RHD coupes if you can find one are currently POA and must be fetching £60,000 plus!
This bit is hilarious. At no expense spared on his behalf? He's using the £45k you just gave him =))
I would love to see it in its true glory at no expense spared on my behalf.

I especially liked the fact that he was selling due to lack of time now that he has a daughter, but give him £45K and he will happily put her to one side whilst he gooes back into the garage and starts tinkering again.

I think I may stick my car up for £55K and offer to drive it for the new owner, just to save them the hassle!!;)

He's only seen 5 for sale ? There's 5 on Ebay every week

Anyone specifically looking for a Z3M wont be fooled. You can pick up a minter with less miles for half the money if you look carefully

I'm not really sure how to respond to the ad to be honest :confused: other than the guy obviously thinks the people out there who are looking for an S54 are total idiots.
