Hello and welcome to the forum. If you can't move your seats manually you may have to sacrifice them and cut them out.
This should be a last resort though.

This is the point i am at very ready to sacrifice the seat, i am unsure of where to start cutting, i will need a new seat so might change them to red since i see a few pairs for around 500 for the pair, if i go about this route where would you reccomend to start cutting? Just start at the rails? I have been trying to figure out how to pull the bottom of the seat, but i was reading thr seat must be out of the car first in order to do that, if anyone can guide me in the correct direction of where to start cutting the seat ill get on it :ymdevil:

The seat top should unbolt from the frame depends if you can access the bolts if like a z3 its two bolts and two hooks then the seat should remive from the frame.
Can you not release the leather alround from the base and take it apart and just sacrifice the base if the leather is good ?

I am not sure how to get the leather off of the base, i did look into it but from what i read i have to take the seat out to remove the base, as for the bolts the in the front i can get to, but the 2 bolts in the back behind the seat i cannot get to Unfortuently, what's under the base of the seat if i start cutting or ripping it out is it possible i can access the bolts underneath behing the seat ?

Sorry I can't help but would you mind sharing how it happened?
Being from America I have a vision of you leaving it parked up with the top down and you have an unexpected rain storm which happens once a year....

I would imagine the bolts you need access too are under the seat rails.

Long story short i was gifted this car after the original owners neglected it and put tarp on it and the tarp leaked on the right side, so now here we are me bringing it back to the condition it should have stayed in the first place, also it rains in Texas frequently :p

Ill get a picture tomorrow its pretty bad under there seeing as it cost nearly the same for a new seat as it does to fix all of the rusted components of this one it seems like i may as well cut it if i can.... But as other users have said if anyone has figured out a way to manually remove the seat id be more than willing to give it a go! Thanks everyone!!
