1.9 M44 wheel size

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anybody is running a 8.5X17 et41 wheel on the rear of their narrow body Z3? I'd like to fit the staggered Style 18 setup, but I see that BMW only offered the non staggered option on the narrow body cars. Can anybody confirm if they will fit my car or if I will have to fit the 7.5X17 setup all round?

I'm pretty sure you'll be ok with 8.5" rears as plenty of people use 20mm plus spacers on their rear tyres. Best thing to do is find someone close to you who has one and try it for size.

That's what I was thinking. There seems to be plenty of room in the rear arch.
I've just never seen a narrow bodied car running the staggered setup.
