Brilliant racing, agree it beats F1 hands down. When I was working in Indonesia in 1999 to 2003 I used watch it on the Fox Sports channel plus the Aussie V8 saloon car racing, TV coverage with huge satellite dish we had was fantastic.
I was fortunate during my holiday in Australia in 2015 to drive from Sydney to Brisbane via Bathurst and do a lap of the Bathurst circuit in our Toyota Camry hire car. Great fun, enjoyed the drive over Mount Panorama and down Conrod Straight.
The National Motor Museum beside the circuit is well worth a visit. I'll add a few pics when I can find them

I bet that old Wolsley was a sight to see going round that track. Guy in the next village had an XJS which I had the dubious pleasure of looking after when I first started working for myself back in '86.

Always adored the XJS, it was my dad's first car and we still have it, albeit under a cover waiting to be stripped and restored one day soon! Sometimes I dream of restomodding one as they are such a beautiful car.
