April 1999 (Reg T629 CFG) pre-facelift BMW Z3 2.8 litre with manual transmission. Arctic Silver with Oregon red and black leather heated sports seats, and extended leather interior.
In my care since 2013, with refurbishment work which includes: suspension, brake system, new sills and front wings, replacement hood.
Factory options include sports seats, extended leather trim, air conditioning, electric roof, and BMW radio/CD player. Standard equipment includes LSD, alarm, ABS and ASC.
Current agreed insurance valuation for the car £7,500. Bodywork in very good condition for age and no visible rust on external panels. There are a few minor paint blemishes and some stone chips to the front. The M52B28TU engine, manual transmission and running gear are in very good condition with service record. The interior is in clean, dry condition.
Current MOT runs until end August, however, I will put 12 months MOT on it for the full asking price of £3950. Matching BMW hardtop available for additional £850 (fixing kit will be removed from car, if roof not taken).

I am taking the car to SCITP at Newby Hall and will be in the BMWCC area from around 10am.

I was going to ask about the mileage and any other issues raised during MOTs, but since you posted the number plate, I now know:
  • Latest recorded mileage at MOT: 103,421 miles (August 2022)
  • No advisories in 2022 and 2021
Could you confirm the latest mileage reading?

I am a very long way away from you, but I would try my best to look at the car with just a bit more details:
  • Number of previous owners
  • Service history

Edit: I just noticed @Scooblitz comment… Was this car for sale before some time ago?

Edit 2: grammar

Was the car for sale a while back?
I offered it for sale last year at a much higher price, but the market for hobby cars seems to have "softened" quite a lot. I have now reduced the price to a very reasonable figure. There is a genuine reason for selling and it is just not getting used.

Look forward to seeing you there at Newby Hall this weekend.
Good sound car which I've seen at car shows in the past.

Good to see you @petecossie at Newby Hall show. I had a lot of people coming to have a look at the car and a chat. Unfortunately most were either current or previous Z3 owners :) and not in the market for buying :(. There were some very nice comments about the condition of the car and plenty of talk about good Z3's look when compared to much newer cars.
