Hello all!

Wuick and easy questions...hopefully.

Looking to buy a wind deflector for my 2000 BMW Z3. Just a few questions, any recommendation on which to get. What is the difference between the mesh and glass deflector?

Thanks,

Zerd

@Xcution

The mesh is OEM and the perspex ones mean you cannot open the lid of the top storage box.

Both do a similar job depends on what look you want

Mesh is better than perspex, but perspex is perfectly fine. You get slightly better visibility through perspex, but I prefer the mesh cuts out glare of car headlights behind.

This one covers all the above, it lifts out so you can access the rear parcel shelf and cubby hole, its smoked so no headlight glare whatsoever and it looks the biz ;)

I leave the OEM mesh one on my Z4 in place all the time because it reduces glare from headlights coming up behind. No brainer really ???
My car has the auto dimming rear view mirror but to be honest the wind deflector does a far better job.

If you want a mesh deflector @Russell O and his wife custom make them. I personally like the mesh because you can unzip the centre section to regulate the breezes. JMHO JIM

Sorry @Sean d sometimes I completely forget that others aren't blessed with long flowing locks as I am!!
@Xcution you can start a PM conversation by clicking on the envelope beside the alert in the upper right corner on the zorg menu screen.
Just click start a new conversation, put the name of recipient, subject and write your message then send it! Easy peasey even I figured it out!
