2001 Z3 3.0i

I bought a 2001 BMW Z3 3.0i 5M and underestimated how much it would cost to fix up the interior. I thought, it is low miles, and runs well, interior shouldn't be hard to fix. I don't understand how a BMW 21 years old is completely wrecked inside while a 90s Ford economy car is still fine. Thicker plastic I guess.

I will have questions about how to fix various things.

Lets see some pictures of what you are facing with the interior, pictures are worth a thousand words.
We have resident Breakers on here so despite it being an M a lot of interior parts from the model range will be obtainable.
I am sure they will be along shortly to welcome you and introduce themselves.

I may be wrong but think the 5m is relating to the 5spd manual gears , not an Z3M?

Hi and welcome from me in Scotland .

As said some pictures may help.
If its a 3.0 then most things repairable one way or another.
If has extended leather dash and its peeling can be removed and rebonded if seats are worn these can be repaired and redyed.

I have not known much about BMW before, but I was very interested in the convertible experience. I remember liking these when I saw 007 Pierce Brosnan in one when I was young.

As said above, there are a few people regularly breaking cars on here.
As long as you are in the UK, getting any parts you may need should be relatively easy and inexpensive.
I have a 2001 3 litre which is being stripped internally, so have many parts available all in good condition.
Just put a 'wanted' post up in the relevant section for the bits you need.
