A bitter sweet post. After buying a Z4 E89 last year I was planning to keep the Z3 but it's been sat on the drive looking sad, so it's time to sell. Advertised on here first as I'd prefer it to go to an enthusiast.
It's a 2002 Z3 2.2 Sport in Estoril Blue with genuine unmarked 17" ACS TYPE 3 wheels and has done 134k miles. Runs really well and still feels tight considering it's 20 years old.
In my ownership it's had the following:
- Zedshed rear end rebuild (#ZedShed - Taffdaddys 2.2 schnitzel | BMW Z1 Z4 Z8 Z3 Forum and Technical Database - ZRoadster.org)
- Soft top replaced by The Soft Top Shop in Stockport
- Vanos rebuild
- Jack Royal steering wheel
- Replaced standard head unit with VDO Bluetooth/DAB
- Fitted Eibach lowering springs all round
- Replaced front shocks with Bilsteins (one was weeping slightly)
- Replaced MAF with a Pierburg
- Replaced inlet camshaft sensor
- Front windscreen replaced
- Front drivers seat refurb (didn't get round to the passenger side)
It's been serviced regularly by @Nodzed down at the Zedshed West and has wanted for nothing. Mechanically the car is sound but the bodywork is showing signs of age with a couple of rust spots in the usual places and has a few dinks, dents and a bit of lacquer peel but nothing that affects the enjoyment of driving.
Car based in Worcester. Please PM me of you have any questions.
There is also a Topaz Blue hard top and fitting kit available by separate negotiation.
The not so good bits:
With hard top
