It is my intention to run a 2014 West Country Zed Event on the weekend of Friday April 11th 2014 to Sunday 13th April 2014. After the organisation that was required for 2013’s Cruise and the nerves I had about if everyone would like the roads I chose and how I drove them I though that this year we would do a Treasure hunt type event. That way people can travel at the speed and route that they decide with a number of meeting places along the way for teas or coffee. and to make sure they attend all the check points they could be required to take a digital picture to prove attendance.
At this point the only thing that is fixed is the dates and that we are planning to use the Hartland Quay hotel again as our base. I am not planning to fix everything at this stage but am making suggestions and asking who is interested and allowing those who wish to to book the accommodation.
In 2013 we filled the hotel and I tried an additional establishment for the overflow but that did not work well so this year when the hotel is full I will leave people to make their own other hotel arrangements and will publish the meeting time at the Hartland Quay Hotel so that both local and additional attendee’s can meet up and come along.
I have agreed with Jill at Hartland Quay Hotel that for now we can book and she will not take booking from anyone who does not Quote Zroadster.org till some time in February and then make them available to the general public.

- Four Doubles with an additional Single
- Two Doubles with 2 singles
- 4 guests would gain a 10% discount
- 5 or 6 guests would gain a 15% discount

and I have the contact to do that BUT a "navigational" exercise where the cars go to differing points but meet up and then go in different directions again etc do not need approval this apparently is called a "Navigational Scatter Event" so this will probably be what we do with a suggested time for meeting at a location for tea/coffee and socialising during the event as well as the evening socialising. (Will people please let me know what they think)
