Wanted 51168407985 - Set of covers, oddments box, subwoofer lid Black

Having trouble finding this part that tops off the subwoofer area. I removed mine to soundproof it and ended up popped holes in the top putting the screws back in

Worst case if I can't find a replacement is to have it wrapped in leather to cover up the damage.

They are crazy money from BMW, I have a set of OEM roll hoops with the HK sub enclosure (no sub or brackets), but I think you'll struggle to find someone willing to split a set - I'll sell it whole.

Thank you for all the quick replies. The one on ebay may be the last one on the planet?
At just under 350$ that is pricey. Wrapping in leather seems like the move. ...if it ends up looking terrible I can always fall back to the ebay one.

Went ahead and had the piece wrapped in leather. Thanks to Joe's Upholstery in Frederick for the fine custom work and quick turnaround. I think it turned out great and a fraction of the cost to replace with Latvian OEM part.

Looking good Lewis, the upholsterer made a great job in covering the panel. Any joy in finding the deflector screws?

Your lid really looks great covered in leather. I've seen a few tan lids in leather. Did BMW offer them that way, do you happen to know?

I know this is old post, but I have similar issue trying to get this subwoofer lid off.
I finally tried the opinion of pullling straight up, but lid is now fractured. There appears to be design change prior to April 99 which entalis a lid subframe mounted with metal (not plastic) tabs. Can you share how you got lid off???

I have gotten cover off… had couple things working against me. Two of the lid subframe screws… were no longer in the subframe… so when I pulled up, the frame separated from cover.
While pilling plugs from A pillar, I realized my super skinny needle nose would slide between both sides of center tab. Pulled up … boom. The force applied directly to tab frame did it with no further breaks.
Now I pulled subwoofer box and discovered the subs are in great shape.

any ideas why they sound like garbage with the aftermarket JVC KD-BT11?

phase = 180
Frequency = MID
