Not sure I get that. The MOT extension concession expired after 31 July didn't it?

Whenever that happens to me, it invariably happens that the time sneaks up on me and I find myself scrambling around before an approaching deadline. I figure I've got a lot of time and before you know it, there's no time left.......................Frankie

Mine was due end of August and there was no extension! Got it done now don't need to worry about it 😉

If they have added the extension to yours, does that mean 2nd lockdown is round the corner?!

I’ve not heard of any more MOT exemptions, no mention of it when I got the oil burner tested last Tuesday. Are you sure it’s not a scam, or is it local to Ireland maybe?

Tony.

Mine was extended from May to November. I might try and get it done in a couple of weeks as the ABS light has stayed off for the last 2000 miles

Guys it might be a Belfast thing. As well as the virus, the main mot centre in Belfast was closed because they had to replace all the inspection lifts.Cracks appeared in some of them therefore theres a massive backlog on mots.In n,Ireland as opposed to England garages here dont do the mot.Its government centres that do the mot here.ps I rang the mot centre today directly, and they gave me the news of the 6 month exemption.
