A lick and a promise !

I haven't had the time or the materials to clean the car since 2 weeks ago as I used the last of my wash and wax to clean the two conservatories when the kids and grandkids came over to help sort the garden. Gary and Izzy came for tea and I asked him to pick up some wash and wax as he left Lincoln. After he got here I started to give my car a clean before the guys roll up tomorrow in their shiny motors. Gary and Izzy (bless her) pitched in to help.

Looking a lot better now. A quick Hoover of the roof and interior. Job done.

Keep them professional car valeters there till tomorrow Tony,mines mucky as it rained on the way home tonight.

Seriously though,it's good to see the kids joining in with things like that.
The little lad next door to where we lived years ago,would always be straight out as soon he saw me washing my car,eager to help. So I got him his own bucket and sponge,he thought it was great.
My own kids however would run a mile .
