I like to dabble with a technology called 'LiDAR'. This makes use of the physical properties of light to make 3D measurements and hence 3D models of, well, things. It turns out I have an Apple tablet with a basic LiDAR sensor on board, so I thought I'd have a quick go at modelling my Zed.

I broke all sorts of rules of thumb doing this. Direct sunlight, lots of glass, shiny bits and so on. But as a proof of concept, it's not awful. Lots of R&D required to get something easier on the eye. Anyway, check it out! o_O
