A milestone !

I guess it had to happen and it did, the new beasty turned over 17,000 miles at the weekend.
On a slightly different note, I removed the large foam plug from the engine end of the noise generator pipe on Saturday, I replaced it tonight. It was hideously loud, I couldn't put up with that.

I never got on with the sound generator "mod" Tony. When I sold the Z4 to my mate he found some foam that was lying around in his garage and bunged it up again. Makes and awful fake sound a bit like a small child making engine sounds running around the school playground.

Absolutely Gaz, to be honest me and Shirl went to Gainsborough shopping yesterday afternoon, just to prove how big the boot is you understand. Anyway in "behaving" mode it sound sort of ok, good even. But tonight on the way home in "hooning?"mode, Jesus it was awful.

I think with a real exhaust fitted the car would have sounded great, and mozzas mod would probably a decent place to start!

Mine passed 97k on my weekend trip back from Wolves. I want to get passed 100k before Christmas if the weather holds into the winter.

I've got a trip to Tenby planned for October and with Taffs North Wales run I will be nearly there with my normal tootling
