I thought it was a bad omen dropping the car off for its MoT, with 066666 miles on the clock :(

Anyway it failed with 2 broken springs - annoyingly front nearside and rear offside, so it means I'm going to have to replace all 4 springs

So not a great start to the New Year :(

Ooh bad luck, might be an oportunity to change the shocks as well particulary up front if they look/feel a bit tired as you will have to dismantle them anyway. There are some discount codes available for eurocarparts which give you a decent discount and they sell the Boge shocks which are OEM just not branded BMW. ;)

My Z has to go in this month as well, at 15 years old, who knows?

Last year, no problems, knock on wood, as they say.

Will let you all know either way... :-ss
