Hi all,

New little niggle has come up on my 2.8.

the ABS and Traction control light will turn on together this its rare for it to happen and 90% of the time if i turn the engine off and on again it will clear it self i have had a quick look at the wheels all cables are intact could it be a dirty sensor somewhere??

It can be a dirty sensor, faulty sensor, or if you have non than standard wheels, it can trigger the sensor, especially on uneven road surfaces, mine play up at the same spot every time on the road approaching the M6 where you have to drive in the ruts made by the lorries, turn the engine off and back on and they clear. If it is a faulty sensor then the fault should not clear. If it is a dirty sensor a good squirt around the brakes should cure, but is worth investing in low dust brake pads.
