the air bag light has come on on the coupe. I have the code reader for the z3 but is it the same for the z4 ? On the 3 it plugs under bonnet but where is the 4 plug located ? Thanks in advance.

Z4 plug is under the dashboard by the drivers door, Its at the oblong type not the round one. but you can read all the modules from there.
If your reader only has a round plug then it wont work,
If your reader only has a round plug then it wont work,
My reader has an oblong plug and a round plug adapter so hopefully ok.
Is your Z3 airbag reset tool like this one? If it is it will do the Z4.

It is indeed yes, I will try and reset the airbag tomorrow
I tried to put the light out this evening but I get an E 10 code. Any ideas ?
Maybe this could help you mate. Apologies if you've already seen it. The tables in the book aren't all that clear.

Please don't apologise all help greatly received. I had not seen this video either but the problem is it comes up with E10 and E11 and it doesn't give me the option to clear them. The only reference in the book to E is error.

So does the z4 have the oil round plug under the bonnet as I have not noticed it ?
