air bag light

Hi all this is Taz. gave up on z3 for a while air bag fault aaahhh have got the complete bmw fault software on an old lap top but when its up and running it just says battery of and ignition of doewsnt seem to recognise car. my other fault reader says 3 faults air bag module, seat tensioner but it doesnt have them and seat ocupancy any suggestions cheers taz green
