I’ve got a set of new (to me) Style 42s (I think) for the Z3 that I thought I’d try out this summer. Want to give them a good clean front and back before getting new tyres etc ..anyone got any good cleaner/product recommendations..or any ‘home brew’ concoctions. Thanks

I use Autoglym Magma on mine, great for cleaning and getting iron particles off, always come up looking spot on.

Tried one quickly and it’s coming up nicely …what I really need now is tar remover..any recommendations for that ? …also realised these are going to be a bugger to keep clean 🤣

I agree they are hard to keep clean. My solution was to change to style 18’s

Nothing to do with cleaning, but I'm just curious, Style 42? I had style 42 s on my 2.8 and they were split rims so did they make two versions? This confused me on another thread when on just a glance I mistook those wheels for 78 s, very similar except for the rim.

Yip it’s the same design but looks like they came in split and non split. Also I think they were available in staggered or not. 78s are very similar to be honest

I've got some MadCow stuff, some very silly names and scents but most of their products seem pretty good.
