Hi All,

Mine alloys a pretty bad, scuffs, corrosion. Any ideas on alloys refurbishment services in coventry\solihull area? Is it makes sense at all to redo alloys with new powder coating and how expensive it might be? Or maybe it is better to burn remaining rubber on my nearly dead 18inch alloys and downgrade to 17inch for more comfortable ride?

Any ideas welcome!

I had mine done at city powder coaters in Birmingham, £30 per wheel with tyres or £20 if they don't have the tyres on. They did a fantastic job on my style 78's and have many colour options. If your alloys are badly corroded they are not the best at fixing this but they will completely strip in an acid bath and repair the alloys of any curbing prior to powder coating. Takes around a week to do if you leave the alloys with them but they do offer a same day service for an extra charge.

Thanks, will check with them. Same day seems more attractive, I can't get myself into Vauxhall anymore ;) Perhaps I'll get new rubber for rear axle, and then do in one go. The corrosion is not on the front surface, mainly inside, maybe it is not a corrosion but just some baked dirt, but did not cleaned with karcher. the reason why I want to recoat that's because paint is peeling - looks badly.
