Hi folks, I'm Mauro, and I drive a 2004 black Alpina Roadster S with lovely red leather (No. 24). I purchased the car in June 2022 and am the 3rd owner. The vehicle had only done 55000 miles, now sitting at 61000. I only do about 3000 miles a year due to me working offshore and that I also drive an E60 M5 which I bought 13 years ago when it was 5 years old. I really like my M5 but the Alpina is my pride and joy. I have had issues with the central locking which means that I have to use the key to open the driver's door, but then I have to keep pressing the button next to the hazard warning switch. I have been told that I need a new control module which is the same as the one fitted in a Z4, but as they have discontinued them I cannot buy a new one. I would be keen to talk with other Alpina Roadster S owners and to find out how to source one. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Mauro.

Hi Mauro, I hope you get the central locking sorted. There are some breakers of E85 Z4 in the UK. Try joining the Z4Forum for info.

Hello Mauro ✋🏻 welcome! Question! When you unlock the door with the key, and because of this problem with the control module, do your hazards flash at all?

Hi.
As said above the Z4 forum has a dedicated section for Alpina Roadsters and there are a few owners with good info on there. The alpina register has some very knowledgeable people aswell, but not so much for the roadster IME.

Having owned an 'Alp' (E92 B3 bi-turbo) I know how special they are and miss mine.
