I don't see how you will enjoy all that top down driving, sight seeing,:watching: drinking,:beer and sunburn:cool:. Then relaxing in some
old villa splashing around in your private pool and more drinking and stuff. What sort of people would enjoy all that.

just a quick update. We have decided on the first day to take a different route, this will take us through Belgium onto Bastogne, this has various monuments depicting the lives lost of the US Forces during the Battle of the Bulge, from here we will travel through Luxembourg down to Epinal. We believe this will be a more enjoyable route than the direct Calais to Epinal through France one

Hi @billz if you are going down that way, this is well worth a visit, we went there a couple of years ago.
It is built on the spot of the Malmedy massacre.
Also, you are only a stones throw away from Spa Francorchamps circuit.

We stayed for a week in a rented chalet near Malmedy.

Were the washing facilities ok? Looks a bit like the 'Bates Hotel'
