Another after market head unit thread

I was sick to death of looking at the abysmal business CD so I fitted a PURE Highway head unit yesterday. The results were very pleasing:

The adapter isn't a colour match for the vents but I'm not bothered. The fit is good. The head unit was 90 quid and is phenomenal. The sound is fantastic, it has DAB, bluetooth handsfree and it plays MP3 discs and memory sticks. I have a compact subwoofer in the boot to give a better depth of sound but even with it turned off the sound is really good. The standard speakers are surprisingly good. I mounted the microphone on top of the speedometer cluster. The headunit, DAB aerial and microphone took 45 minutes in total. The Z4 was a joy to work on, probably the easiest install I've ever done.

Good riddance to that dreadful business CD.
