Having got use of my hands back i decided to set about cleaning up the zed.
Had alittke surface rust on the sill edges so wanted to get all the arch liners down and check what lirked behind!
Luckly very little to be honest alittle muck but not much and just a little surface rust.
Treated it all with Vactan and rrpainted the edges.
Turned out a long day as i set about cleaning the arches and the liners something i have wanted to do but never got round to it.
Well today was that day!
Ran out of light for picture but got all four cleaned up and looks good remarkably good for an 18 year old car .....a day well spent.

Nice to find it in as good order as it is.

I can then get the rest painted and treated the bushes look in good order on the subframe but the swing arms are about ready.
Add that job to the list !!

I have the garden brinking on the horizon too but its water logged at the moment so it can wait.
Its been a dry day here if not a tad windy but no rain to stop play :)

Is the paint just the vactan Ant, or did you cover it with something else?, how easy does it apply?, cheers

The Vactan is just like milky consistancy goes on white and you watch it react and turn black.
The arches are all original paint so not used it on them as no need but i had a body colour touch up pot so the sill ends have been touched back in with that.
It was only minor the metal is all good so it was only the lip that needed tidying back up after i had treated it.
