I already have a F30 335D In the garage , n
but fancied a bit of fun on the cheap , something that i can have a go a with a spanner myself.
it boils down to do i get a 1.9 or a 2.0 , i love the sound of the six's but they way a lot any thoughts ?

Thanks , but cannot drive at the moment (medical not booze) this was going to be somewhat a project thingy
till i get my licence back in sept hopefully . i love the sound of the 6 pot but hell of a weight difference
between that and the 1.9

1.9 is very chuckable..like an MX5..I’d argue it’s more involving plus you tend to stay the right side of the speed limit/hedges. 1.9 Sport is a good option... also a bit cheaper to maintain. I have a 1.9 and also a 3.0. 3.0 is a cruiser and can be scary fast. The 2.2 rather than the 2.0 is a sweet spot, sounds the best and ULEZ compliant if that’s a concern….oh and welcome 👍
