Hello everyone just a few words to say hello I,m now on my fourth Z (previous two Z3,s and a 4 that goes to a new home tomorrow) I just find the driving experience of the three much more enjoyable as I,m sure you will concur. My new Z is a Dakar Yellow 2.2 Sports which belonged to a active member who many of you will know also the car I believe is quite recognisable, anyway having been welcomed by Ben at his home in Southampton and gobsmacked by the fantastic condition of said Z and a short test drive in perfect open top experience It didn,t take me long to make the decision to purchase (with my partners approval of course) todays technology is useful sometimes re payment and insurance etc so all sorted and headed home back to sunny Somerset hood down a lovely car to drive a testament to the previous owners care and attention over the years, I hope to attend some events in the future but at the moment we are busy clearing out our farm (now sold) so new purchase and move will take preference for a while.
Sorry intro is a bit long just to finish was a pleasure doing business with a like minded enthusiast and as promised to Ben I,ll endeavour to keep RN02 ZZZ in the care that she has become accustomed to :)
Cheers
Al

Yes definitely great sunset on a summer evening ideal for great zed photography.
Was down Stranraer way a couple of weeks ago with a few of the forum members on the Spring Scottish run the last bit on day 2 was up the A77 off through Turnberry then along coastal road back into Ayr.

Welcome to the Forum, great looking pair of cars. Your yellow Scimitar reminds me of the Brown SE6 I used to own many moons ago (I had previously owned a blue SE5). Thought they were great cars to own and drive, really loved the overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. Still got the workshop manual for the SE6 somewhere in the garage.
