Anyone in or close to Cranleigh, Surrey?

Hi, I have a problem I'm hoping a member or two can help me with. I bought TOO a 98 z3 back in Feb and Sean at f5 detailing has been decontaminating and repairing a few things that needed doing on the car in prep for the boat ride. Well it turns out that the seller didn't include a bill of sale or invoice along with the V5 but did send in the export parts and other paperwork he sent with the car when it was delivered. Without a BOS I can not get the car onto a ship or through customs here in Canada and may end up having to break it to recoop some $$$.
What I need is someone available to go to Walton Motor or to the sellers home and obtain this paperwork for me. I certainly don't want to break this car but may have no other option as Sean's landlord is raising a stink about the car being sat there. He wants £45 to rent the spot per month which is okay with me for a short term solution for a month. If you can assist me I would be forever in your debt. Is it not possible for the seller to post what you need to Sean?

Problem being we get no responses to emails or phone calls at Walton Motors. Have been trying but no messaging machine or service and all I have is the sellers address from the V5 which Sean has in his possession. No phone number! Didn't realize until about a week and a half ago that the BOS or invoice wasn't in with the paperwork when Sean notified me he'd completed the car prep. I'd really hate to have to break it but if it goes on much longer there'll be snow falling in Halifax and I need to either find storage or fly out and drive it home which will be a crap shoot weather wise. I'm waiting for Sean to email me the sellers address and haven't heard back from him in a week. I have a pic of the V5 but can't get it to show for some reason. Will PM @Nifty Fifty as soon as I get the address for the seller. Thanks NF, JIM, Starting to panic!! HTMS

Hi, Sean has finally managed to get through via phone and I sent in the details they asked for by email. Actually got an email back almost immediately claiming no one by that name worked there and an invoice was dropped of when car was delivered. Informed them that it wasn't and that I needed proof of their ownership and that all my correspondence was made through them with Andy, the name on the V5.
They claim he signed it over and they filed a trade form. Does this sound correct? Also told them I require an original invoice, not simply a copy for customs in Canada. So I'm not certain what their next step is @Nifty Fifty but thanks for your offer, it's very kind, and I'll keep you informed. Hopefully they'll get their s$&t together and I can get that car on it's way to Canada before the snow flies as I have a 2500mile drive to get it home. JIM

No problem mate if it works out that its still a simple pick up then let me know, I will keep a look out for a PM. I hope everything turns out OK. Its sounds you & Sean have put a lot off effort and hard work in getting the new toy preprepared for the journey it would be such a shame for it to all fall over over what seems a little technicality.

I'll send Andy a letter with a draft invoice explaining the situation, with a stamped envelope for him to return the invoice in. That means you get your invoice from the name on the v5 hopefully!

Thank you Martin, that was my next step, to send a registered letter to his home hoping to get a BOS in his name as that matches the one on the V5. Great minds and all that, I appreciate if you could do that for me, what with Joan's Mom passing this is a pretty hectic time around here and I'm still having to drive Nik, my son around for his job so he can keep his house. I appreciate all you and my girl can do for me. Treat her nice or I may have to bring Frankie over to deal with you!! lol JIM
