Are these sensor problems.

Engine warning light cam on - just checked the codes. Am hoping that they are likely to be sensor problems.
2A82 - Vanos intake
2A98 - crankshaft- inlet camshaft, correlation.

Suspect one code is the cause of the other.
Engine seems fine.
Any advice on probable cause and likely fix?

Tinterweb indicates the first code is the Vanos solenoid.The second shown here in a video.

The first may be triggering the second it says most common fault is the solenoids.
