About 12 months ago I bought some armrests and seatbelt guide fix Z .i got them from Sothernboy .they are still in excellent condition and look and feel really great

Sorry, but I need a bit more explanation. I need the guides replaced on both seats, and cannot understand how they were attached.The best and cheapest repair I have ever seen, even though it was nearly invisible, was this:
If you can rotate the broken guides slightly, with a small drill bit drill two holes, one in the top part and one in the bottom part. Glue and insert a steel pin to fit and that's it.
Yes the bushes really bugged me and I should of done the guides at the same time but once the seat was back in......My guides are totally shot and the previous owner has also used some form of mastic as well just for good measure. New guides arrived from Soper's today and the seat bushes yesterday. SO a busy weekend coming up refurbishing seats, if I can get the base covers off there's a little stitching required as well (job for wifey !!). I could have left them but these are the little things that bug me every time I get into the Z.
