The arm rest to fit my OEM cup holder arrived from @Southernboy today and I am well chuffed with it.

I fitted an e46 one to mine: less than £20 on eBay

can be opened too revealing a compartment inside, and is a place to mount my gate and garage door remotes too so I can operate whilst driving up to them.
