Good to retrun to the Community, now driving my 4th Z4, this time a 2.8 manual. Hope to get into some banter before too long.

Yes, Topaz, 2000 model 3.0 auto with just 20,000 on the clock !... sadly poorly maintained so not as good as you would think for a low mileage car.
Sold it last year and made a couple of grand on it. A first !
My current 2000 model 2.8 manual has had a bucket full of maintenance over the years and runs like a new one at 95,000 !...
I have a hardtop for the 2.8 but never got one with the last 3.0. Previous Z3s with hardtops have seen the hardtop collecting spiders in the garage from the time I bought the cars to the time I sold them. This may change with our changing weather pattern !
