Just back from holiday, and found battery completely drained. Car has been locked in garage for 3 weeks. No lights or anything else switched on. Any ideas as to what could cause the drain?

Yes, you should of left it on trickle charge.

The alarm must of drained it.

If it won't stand that Euan , it's knackered. Have it tested, but I think you'll find it's ready for changing.

The other cause can be the boot/trunk light staying on.

Only known way of testing this theory is either find a very small person without claustrophobia, or leave your camera phone recording video and close the lid ;)

Shutting your mother in law in the boot can check it.

The bonus is you don't have to let her out.

If you use the car enough you don't need a battery baby sitter though.;)

I can't speak for before Mike but he'd definitely fit in the Z3 boot now, I've seen him at Newark, a very slim BB.

Tried myself but couldn't get the boot lid down..

Thanks for the help everyone. Could be the battery is knackered as my other car had no probs.
