Write Up Bicester Scramble Jan 2026

Some photos from the Bicester Scramble this morning. As always, a very interesting mix of cars on display and in the car parks. I didn’t have time to walk around the car parks too much unfortunately, but the great thing for most Z3 owners is that all pre 2001 cars arriving are now automatically sent to a forward display parking.
The silver Z3M belongs to Chris Harris. Maybe he’ll be on here looking for advice on the prevention of leaks. His windows were a bit fogged up, so I suspect some moisture in the cabin

It was a bit too cold for me to get my camera out for cars apart from mine!

Brilliant day, a good turn out despite the weather

At first I was put in the bog standard parking! A crime for a car with a front S plate. A quick chat to a guard got me rightfully upgraded to pre 2001

89 I do adore them!
I chose them especially to replace my style 35’s
Bonus: the tyres are about £70 piece cheaper now.

Car’s looking great. Pity I missed you, I walked past that 7 series and Corrado twice but didn’t see you parked there. Mind you, I left pretty early. Did they let you drive up to the hangars today? Great photos, would be a good place to have a gathering of Z’s.

I didn’t move mine up to pre 2001 until later on in the day. I don’t blame you leaving early, it was bitter.

I stayed until 1:30 ish and then moved the car to the hangers. No one seemed to mind. I regularly see people doing group shoots there after the event. As you said, wouldn’t it be brilliant to do a group shoot with some Z’s
