Just installed above set on front, blimey, that's totally different car. Need to say stock shocks were shot, passenger perhaps 30% function, drivers dead at all. Not only shock and spring, actually all strut components are new, and also i've installed reinforcement plates into schosk domes (these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151895939532?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT). They are for e46, so 1 extra hole needs to be drilled to install on z4.

Eibach springs have exactly same geometry as ///M sport springs i've had on car. B4 shocks also got version to replace oem sachs, exactly same geometry, and same stiffness.

Now car sit about 1cm higher, I think that's because springs are new, perhaps stock lost some stiffness over 12 years.

Tomorrow will do rears. Roof container has to be removed from boot to do rears, expecting some hassle there.

Sounds like your shocks were shot. I think I have the same problem on mine, because I'm scuffing more on the local speed bumps. Used to just be the lower of the front bumper, but now I'm scuffing the plastic under tray. I think when I replace the shocks I'll get a little more ride height back again.

They were shot indeed! Drivers on just moves freely. I've pulled the shaft out and it went back just by gravity! Passenger one perhaps 30% stiff comparing to new one.

After 200 miles car sits about an 1/2-3/4 inch lower that on original suspension. And i do like this! Apparently all part settled in place after some ride.

Sounds about the same drop as I had on my car Peter, after changing the stock BMW Sport suspension for the Eiibach Pro kit.

Mine was ///M suspension from factory, bud rear springs have been replaced for no-name by previous owner, front was original ///M sport, but pretty rusty, so decided to replace all 4.. Drop is mainly at the back of a car, not huge, perhaps now it sit as ///M sport car should do.

The handling and ride quality changed a lot though. So, new brakes (unfortunately not upgrade) , new wheel hubs, new tyres, new suspension. Should I replace engine it will be bloody new car!
