I get the point of these hybrid cars as the small petrol engine will charge the batteries but the battery powered cars still have to be charged from a power station producing CO2 but not where the car is being used. Keeps London clean but pollutes the rest of us!!.

I guess they will do the same as the new 4 series by piping the 6 or 8 cylinder engine note into the speakers.
