Hi all spoke to premier inn today about a discount for a group booking , they said the price would be the same if we booked one room or ten price of double rooms are £55 per room this dose not include breakfast.Also said that price of rooms could increase nearer to time will try some other hotels in wellinbourgh to see if we can get a better deal cheers tony.

Yocky I had a similar problem with them when I spoke to them reference Silverstone hence went elsewhere. They are not interested in group bookings I just logged onto Premier Inn web site and if I take the option to lose my money if I do not turn up I can get a double room for £29 for the Bedford South. That was why I went to the holiday Inn express. the way that hotels work is deceitful they offer you a rate then when you sign up they jack up the rate for everyone else. Welingbourgh by the way came up as £55 if you want to be able to cancel and £46 if you risk losing your money I had a look at the online price through the BMW Car Club for the holiday Inn at Northampton 14 miles from the track and standard price is £49.37. Shall I email Sarah at the establishment to see what she will offer us? I know she is on holiday till next week but it could be worth an email.

do we know anything more about a hotel? I am happy to ring Sarah and see what rate I can get at the HIE Northampton or there is another really nice one I found at Staverton Park and got a great rate and is an OK distance from the event for a decent cruise to the event.?

I think something big must be on in the area as de-vere staverton park is FULL and the Holiday Inn express has come back with £56.99 including Breakfast(s). Looking at premier inn I found the Northampton on Saver (no refund for cancellation) at £38 without breakfast which will work out at £54.50 with two English breakfasts . HIE will allocate rooms reserved for us and I suggested about 10 at that price and they are now awaiting to know if we want to go with it. I am still trying to get it down from there. I will edit this post later if I am successful.

I am talking to HIE about improving the offer as the BMW Car Club discount price is lower than they have offered but I have not had an answer back from that email which was timed at 13:18 today I will chase it tomorrow. I suggest that if your comfortable I will try and get the price down and then suggest that we go for it. They will then give us a booking code and we can post it on the forums once that is done. All I ask is that even on Zroadster.net mention that Zroadster.org have negotiated the deal on everyone's behalf. Badman Gee has got me passionate about the inclusivity rather than exclusivity thing! so I bang the drum everywhere now. LOL

I see another cruise to the event coming. LOL
