My Z4 has the standard BMW set up and there is a CD multi changer inbetween the seats which doesn't work for some reason. Anyone know what I need to buy / do to enable the standard stereo to accept an ipod set up?

While you are about answering 'Simps Z4', I would like to link my iphone4s into my Z4. Has anyone any knowledge of the links you can buy on ebay to allow this or do you think I am better off getting a BMW Kit?

Hi Mike,

The Dension kit is what you need. They have a section where you can check compatibility for your model as well. Should have added it to my first reply

What doesn't work? Lack of electricity, or something else?

There are after market options for plugin iPod made by Dension. No idea what they are like, because the CD changer in my Z4 worked. :bag:

Have a look at this linky...

Not entirely sure as not had time to have a good look. When I press the green button on the CD changer nothing happens although if I listen carefully there is a very faint sound for about half a second so I think possibly there is power there but the changer doesn't eject. Is there a way of manually forcing the magaxine to eject?

I found that opening the sliding cover and wiggling the cassette whilst spamming the eject button worked for mine. I'm sure there is a better way, but wiggling with certainly seemed to release something.

Well, I bought the Dice Silverline and wired it all in and it plays my ipods now but there seems to be limited functionality and the scrolling text doesn't appear on the BMW Business radio. Anyone any experience of this?
