Sold my very nice 3.0i Z3 in October and am now looking for a new sports car. Not sure what but do like the BMW Z4. Anyone thinking of selling. 3.0i would be nice but by no means a requirement. Thanks. John

I know your looking for a 3.0, but .... Just seen a very nice Z4 2.5si manual for sales at Westfield cars in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Only 28k miles £8995. Looked very clean, wheels pristine. Nice car.

Just up the road another facelift Z4 on a driveway.

Thanks for that and very timely as I was just about to update the post. Went out looking this afternoon and saw a number of 3.0is. They also had a 2.5 in burgandy and cream upholstery. All a bit scuffy so still looking. Talking to the dealer and he was going on about the 2.0 and 2.2 being underpowered and no one buys them so he does not. Back to the 2.5, do any owners of 2.0s or 2.2s who upgraded to 2.5s really notice the difference. Same for those who upgraded to the 3.0.0 from the 2.5. Thanks.

My wife and I went out yesterday to look at a Pheonix Yellow Z4 3.0si sport with 47k. Loved the colour, struggling to part with the Z3. The Z4 seems a bit "grown up" not sure but think I will be staying with the Z3 and spending some money on this one instead.

3.0si is a second quicker 0 to 60 and has an extra 47 bhp yet still returns the same if not better fuel economy than the 2.5si. If you have thought about getting the 3.0 and go for the 2.5 you will always have something niggling you at the back of your head (should i have got the 3.0)

Was the phoenix the one with the beige interior. Saw one on autotrader when I was looking and it's the oddest combination I can imagine.

I personally decided I wanted the 3.0si with Sport spec early on and in glad I stuck to it.

Basically it's the top model so comes with the best toys, sport seats and so on. There is an entry level "Si SE" spec as an alternative.

Can't give you the exact spec as I don't know it. But mine has all sorts of nice bits like extended leather.

Hi yes it was the one with beige interior. I had to have a look and wasn't sure. It was quite scuffed inside but could be sorted. It's at a dealer in Wimbledon

Thought it may have been and in my opinion it's way overpriced. Would need to be showroom condition and even then it's still a little high.

Gary it is priced around the same as others with that sort of mileage. I would say the ones over 10k to be over priced with around 45k. We will probably be putting ours up in the summer and will want around 9k to 9.5k and we have 50k on it, mind it is a 2008
