Nice one. The boot rack is supposed to be the other way round though, the raised bit is supposed to be nearest the cabin as it's designed to stop the load hitting you under heavy breaking/head on should it come loose :thumbsup:

You would not believe the posts on here over the years regarding rack fitting, you are one of many that assumed just that (i would have done the same to be honest) :whistle::whistle:=))=))=))

Ok so I've tried this the other way round and it hit the rear window with the hood up. Slid it back on the lid to clear the hood and it looks odd like it's about to fall off. Not sure what to do now.

Leave it as it is, just avoid the boot rack mafia. :)

It will be ok the way it is, I have a similar one

Your car @Greybloke so fit it to suit you. If I had one I'd fit it the same as you. I usually get comments regarding my perpex wind deflector, as mine is fitted behind my hoops whereas most fit them in front.
