Took the zed out yesterday and strange the brake pad wear light stayed on on the dash. I had changed the pads and discs last year and don't do many more miles than Badman so I assumed it wasn't the pads.
Took the brakes apart today to check the wear sensors and checked continuity on both and light still wouldn't go out. Decided to check the front again and gently pulled near the connector and found the break in the wires, must have just been touching enough to be ok for continuity but once flexed broke the circuit.
Off to get a new sensor next week, I had tried to temporary solder it but soldering must be as good as my welding.
At least I know what's wrong and the temp solder worked long enough to prove the light goes out on the dash.
