What's your opinion? I have the 5 speed auto transmission in my '04 3.0 I. I often shift to the SD or manual mode to use the tranny to slow down thereby saving the brakes. Kinda gives the feeling of manual shifting less the clutch. Is this a wise thing to do? Am I putting more wear and tear on the tranny than I should be. Brakes are much less costly than transmission.
