Hi all

Looking to buy a car cover as the Zed will be on the driveway during winter as I get to work on it
If anyone has purchased one and been happy with it I’d appreciate details so I can buy one

Thanks Russell .

Yes I had a stormforce as well for my Z3, it has lasted about three years but the outer surface is starting to deteriorate and break up. No matter as on 28th this month I'm moving and my Zed will have a nice heated garage!

Hi Buddy

Oh the joys of a heated double garage grrrrrrrrrr

I shall get one of these simply to use over the winter months as I wrap up warm whilst returning this lovely Z4 to its former glory

Thanks bud for the reply

Halfords own brand got top rating on one of the magazine tests, although haven't tried it myself!

I can give my feedback on a hood cover I bought from "UK custom Covers" on ebay. The hood itself was a very good fit and the stitching of good quality, but the material was very poor. The material was fabric on the outside with a thin plastic coating on the inside for waterproofing. the problem is that age and weather combined with repeated folding caused the plastic on the inside to crack up and eventually start breaking away from the fabric leaving patches resembling stockings that leaked like a sieve. This happened after only 9 months and i threw it at 15 months as it was of no use to protect my hood/drain channels from water.

My advice is to make sure it’s breathable.
