Thanks to Titan aka Terry I've been able to make my own personalised stoneguards - wrapped with carbon fibre look instead of black vinyl

I-m very pleased with the result and think it looks great - although itø'll take some time to get used to the "dark area" on the side of the car.... B-)

I've also changed the wheel for some 16" BMW Styling 46 aloys - the 17" Styling 78 - which I love the design of - were to uncomfortable for daily driving - so I got a set of Styling 46 with snowtyres - thought the design was ok and got an extra set - almost brand new from Germany (Ebay.de) and now I have a set with summertyres as well :coolsteer)

How thick is the material that is normally used for stoneguards?? I'm not sure that mine look just a tiny bit thick ( the stoneguards!!!! not my stomach or my head @-) )

Hi Ferdinand

They look great!
The normal magnetic material is approx .83mm thick and I don't think they or yours look too massive.

Titan, we have a ordinary set of black stoneguards that we bought from you at Newby last year. We were wondering if it is possible to get a set in a silver colour? :)

I think they would look really good to your car as well (big modern wheels etc. ) Just make sure you point the "lines in the "carbon fibre" backwards - otherwise it will look like "strange"....

Mike - you can have whatever colour you want so long as it's black ;)

Ferdinand has wrapped his in carbon fibre
Why don't you try aluminium foil?
You could have glossy or matt finish as well

See you at Silverstone
I'll be the one over in the Austin Healey's :))
