I have this and have coded the Z4 with lots of different options
Drive off locking
Donut brake lights
Beep on lock
Roof open close with the key
Follow me home lights
Comfort opening for window.

Am I right in thinking the z4 needs the cable connection to code? I read you can do diagnostics with the wireless adapter but not coding.

Hi @Maddusty, I have the 'Carly' adapter and it is linked to my iPad. I have used it for several things, including setting the alarm to the way I want it and also getting the top down, and up, from outside the car. But you must have the 'full' version of the app to do this, not the 'trial' version. With that you can only see the diagnostics but cannot program them.

P.S. The 'Carly' just plugs into the socket by your right knee on the drivers side. I think there are cables for different ways of connecting it all together, not too sure on this as I have not had to use them.
