I bought a Creator C110 recently and a 20pin adaptor in order to potentially hunt for a camshaft position sensor error. Zachary did not come up with any codes, slightly disappointed to be honest haha . Mark Purcell (highly recommended) suggested to change the crankcase breather valve and hose to potentially solve my issue.

Anyway, I don't want the diag. tool to go to waste ( God knows if I'll ever use it) so, if anyone needs their codes read/reset and is in the Oxfordshire area, I am more than happy to lend a hand and learn more things about the wonderful cars we drive .

So it connected to the car correctly, just didn't find any codes - that's rather annoying when you know you have an issue with the car.

The offer of code reading for others is awesome though!

I think the tool did its job perfectly, because there were no codes the fault is not electrical but mechanical and allows you to look in the right area such as pipes and hoses etc...do it helped the diagnosis process, these tools cannot tell you the exact fault, they can only tell you the system that is affected, you then have to fault find the system by testing from one end to another.

I never said the scanner did not work, I was merely suggesting that I was disappointed that more digging is necessary to find the issue. It was suggested to change the ccv and ccv hose and see if the problem goes away.
