Guys iv had the z4 for about one month.iv already encountered sticky steering when on a hot day, which isnt nice.never had that on the z3!also 4 lights have come on the dash related to the traction control i believe?have read the owners manual an dit appears the advice is to drive it as usuual but be careful.i believe its sensor problem rather than a breakdown of any thing related to the actual traction control systems????iv only done about 100 miles in car so far and obviously im not pleased with the light show on dash.the car has only done 300 miles sinc e last mot.Any opinions ,and advice welcome, thankyou.ps when i bought it the guy s said it had just had a new battery fitted????

Best get a BMW code reader on it then you might have an idea what to look at sensor wise

As above, you will need to get the codes read and possibly look at some live data before any questions can really be answered.
I recommend getting a K/DCAN cable and installing INPA if possible. It is a very comprehensive tool.

The traction control is normally disabled when these sort of issues are present so be cautious of the rear end trying to overtake you on roundabouts!
Unfortunately I found that out the hard way! Did feel like a boss going around a roundabout at a 30 degree angle though!! ;)

Common causes include wheel speed sensor, brake pressure sensors and failing DSC unit. All relatively simple things to fix.
