Had a great day today, first proper run out in the Zed this year. Joined by fellow Zedder RobT and ex Z3 owner Christ87
After making are way slowly down the Stocksbridge by pass to the Strines, my must do road, we could let the cars stretch their legs just love this road.
First stop point Old Hall Tea rooms at Hope for lunch before weaving our way through Castleton to another favourite "Wynatts pass" Enjoying the Peak district scenery as well as the Para gliders as well as a low flying Chinook joining the fun. Headed are way to a very busy Buxton then off to Longner, first time been there and the fish shop was open but we had eaten so another time. Headed then to Cromford. a cruise through Matlock bath and a crawl through to two dales before being released for a sprint to Bakewell and another drink stop at Harrop station. With time passing we headed for home in a roundabout sort of way through Chatsworth and over the top to Chesterfield. 6 hours and 150 miles of total non essential motoring, but boy is it good for personal sanity.
Just a couple of pic's from the day.

Sounds great - I hope the low flying Chinook and para gliders kept their distance from each other

All and all a great day. First time I've been to the Peaks and certainly won't be my last. Hoping to scale Winnat's Pass soon.
First time the MG has been out for a decent run this year post recommissioning and repairs.
The plucky little Brit (it looks very small in this company) performed pretty well in this esteemed company. Just wish it made a better noise like it's companions here. I've also got some photos to share

Certainly once you got to Hope I know the area you were in, looks like it was pretty empty at Winnats Pass as the cavern is closed atm.
+1 for the chip shop in Longnor too:thumbsup:, but wasn't it Hassop Station you stopped at?;)
