Got a Boston green 1.9 narrowbody and totally love the colour and car. I would love to one day love to own a Z3m in the same colour, ideally in the coupe but would settle for a roadster- I’ve done some research but seems like they are very rare, any idea of how many are still kicking about? If any...

There are internet sites that have the sort of information you are after. Unfortunately they are either for USA or LHD Euro cars. I haven't found one for the UK or RHD cars.

Attached is the VIN range for Z3's. Not every VIN in a list is used, so don't just count all VIN's in a list and assume that the number made. If you really want to know the answer to your question. Pick the list for RHD Z3 coupe's and do a VIN decode on each VIN number. Put the information into a database and then you'll know. With the BMW VIN decodes now being a paid for service, it will cost you a pretty penny, but it a questions others will ask and likely be willing to pay for the answer.

There are three different greens available for the Z3 MC - S50 Evergreen & Boston Green Metallic - S 50 & S54 Oxford Green II Metallic, details in the website link below.

I was compiling a list way back in 2012 of Coupes (a bit out of date now of course) and their colours, there were example of all these colours available. Don't know how many of each colour were imported into UK but I think they are pretty rare as you have found out so far. Over the last few years I've seen one of each colour green at the Silverstone Classic meeting. They don't come up for sale very often.

For the mileage, condition and rare colour it probably isn't a bad price, however not a sellers market at the moment so maybe a deal could be done. Be interesting to see what it goes for in the end.
Not sure if I've actually seen this car at Silverstone Classic back in 2018.

Hi there,
I've got one of those!!
1999 S50 M coupe in Boston Green. Fell in love when I first saw it, still love it now.
Did the Silverstone Classic in 2018 & 2019 (whole weekend in 2019), the colour really does it for me. Closest I could get to British Racing green (strange choice on a German car, I know). Not a garage queen, but largely rust free now & getting a little better every time I work on it (ALWAYS something to do). Pete definitely saw mine at the 2018 Classic (only did the Friday), had 18" CSL style alloys at the time. After much searching gone back to the 17" original style 40 wheels now, car feels much better for it.

Saw that earlier, thanks for heads up too!
Looks like a really nice example, I’ll be keeping an eye on it to see what the market is saying!

Yeah the Boston green is awesome- Howard you have a lovely car! Hope to see it in the flesh one day, in a post Covid world at a potential future Z meet maybe!?

I will look forward to being able to 'come out' again, meeting up at shows and the like.
Hopefully next year, if things go well over the winter.
Two Boston Green Zeds together would make a rare photo occasion!!
