Looking at the drips/water on the boot, I think he has had his heater on.

Friday morning mine looked like GazHydes ( left the top up though), Saturday morning I found a large puddle sat on my drivers seat after the torrential rain through the night.

After mopping it up I have had to put a plastic bag on the seat to prevent wet trousers while driving.

It seems that the water just seeped through between the rubber seal and window and then dripped (ran?) onto the seat where it formed a large reservoir. That'll teach me to forget to use the rain cap!

It was real frost unfortunately :(

I scraped the frost off the plastic screen and then dropped the hood. I had the engine running, but it hadn't got up to temperature.

Did you mark the plastic window after scraping the frost off?

No, I used a bit of cloth to clear it off although I normally just use a plastic card from my wallet. They are usually quite tough, and I have an unproven theory that peoples screens split because they don't have the roof down often enough.

I need an adrenaline rush at least once a day...

I've have mine down in all weathers, it's very frequently down too.
When it's cold I usually drive hood up until the heater is toasty then drop the hood so perhaps that helps.

I just make sure it folds properly (sometimes it can make an odd vertical sort of crease which will cause splits or holes done many times).

I think it's the wrong sort of creasing that causes splits (ie it should only fold horizontally and in a nice straight line with a gentle curve, anythings else will make sharper creases and cause weak spots).

Mine has a dark crease line across the middle which will polish out by use of some plastic polish
